lyrics
When I'm in trouble I dream to travel there
To find myself again
There's a lonely shack, what nobody checks,
Except at times those who try to hide their love
In the pines, down from the road,
Not far from a black and shiny lake
Words of fatigue in a world of profits
Tired as I was made me know it,
Noone cared, and I cared 'bout nothing,
But first in my whole life to feel free
Smell of pine trees, I went there to hide
Smell of hop steam, I went there to free my mind
Smell of ginger, I went there to be alive
I dream to be there since then,
In my dreams I'm running there,
Swimming in the lake
While wahtcing the sun rise up
Naked in the wind and warmed up by the sun
Naked in the wind and warmed up by the sun
Smell of pine trees, I went there to hide
Smell of hop steam, I went there to free my mind
Smell of ginger, I went there to be alive

This EP is a treasure. It's here that you can hear the "Elevator" lyrics "Now I see closing the doors / I feel awkward and count the floors," which capture the awkwardness perfectly, grammatically and rhythmically. Of course you see the closing itself before you actually see the doors. Of course the words are a little out of place, because so are you, as you count the floors. A gorgeous song in its different versions, but especially here. And a gorgeous EP. dianasenechal
