lyrics
The first autumn wind
Has gripped the pain from my heart
Sour smelling leaves, wrapped my heart
Towing the smile from my soul
Since I was a child
I has had plans to hide
The dissonant wibes
About flying times
And named it 'sham melancholy'
Perhaps it feels blue
But I finally percieve myself
Maybe I look blue
But I have nothing to hide
If you befriend Grief, the one who stays is Smile
The hours spent in rue, are a main part of your life
I always wanted to hide my sorrow, it was only a friend of mine,
Acting in such circumstances, that can easily break a heart,
You know that I was wrong
You know that I was wrong
Perhaps it feels blue
But I finally percieve myself
Maybe I look blue
But I have nothing to hide
The hours spent in rue, are the main part of your life
If you befriend grief, the one wwho stays is smile

This EP is a treasure. It's here that you can hear the "Elevator" lyrics "Now I see closing the doors / I feel awkward and count the floors," which capture the awkwardness perfectly, grammatically and rhythmically. Of course you see the closing itself before you actually see the doors. Of course the words are a little out of place, because so are you, as you count the floors. A gorgeous song in its different versions, but especially here. And a gorgeous EP. dianasenechal
